Out of the 111 humor columns I wrote in 2006, it’s difficult to pick favorites, mainly because I’m incredibly egotistical. But if forced to choose, this is my top five of 2006:
5. A comparison of actress Anne Ramsey, columnist Ann Landers, and Holocaust victim Anne Frank. People seemed to be slightly offended by this one. I’m not sure why.
4. This week on “The O.C.” These spec scenes prove that I should be writing for the show.
3. Get rid of pesky poor people forever! Slightly political, and a nice change of pace from my normal humor style.
2. I am a professional at moving your shit. The filthiest column I wrote all year, and that’s saying a lot.
1. Sesame Street instant messenger. This is written in what I like to call “Classic Paul” style. Meaning it’s filthy.
My most visited column this year was definitely the Gay Superman Returns mockup page. Or if you like my photojournalism, my photo column from San Francisco might be interesting.

You’re jumping the gun, do you mean to title it the best humor columns of 2006?
OH and these are my favorite columns from 2006, although your IM one was funny, too.
